2026-04-28On the afternoon of October 19, the forum titled "Belt and Road Connectivity and the Establishment of a New Global Economic Order" was held in Beijing. The forum, part of the Tongzhou Global Development Forum (2024), which is titled "Fostering a Community of Shared Development and Building a New Era of Humanity Together," explored the practical and academic perspectives of the Belt and Road Initiative and its significance in shaping a new global economic order.

Renmin Business School Obtains Five-Year EQUIS Reaccreditation for the Third Time
2026-04-28On September 27, 2024, the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) officially announced that Renmin Business School (RMBS) had successfully obtained the five-year reaccreditation of the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS). This marks the third time RMBS has obtained this accreditation after the initial accreditation.

The Second Forum of Building Chinese Independent Knowledge System in Business Administration Discipline Alliance Held
2026-04-28Liu Jingzhen delivered a keynote report titled "Developing New Quality Productive Forces Based on Local Conditions to Steadily Advance High-Quality Development."
Yi Jingtao, Dean of Renmin Business School, delivered a keynote report titled "Constructing a Chinese Independent Theory of Multinational Corporations."
Bai Changhong, Dean of Nankai Business School, delivered a keynote report titled "Happy Enterprises: Practical Wisdom and Knowledge Creation from Pioneering Enterprises."
Feng Gengzhong, Dean of Xi’an Jiaotong University’s School of Management, delivered a keynote report titled "Learning from the Past to Build the Future: Constructing an Independent Knowledge System in Management Disciplines."
Xie Xiaoyun, Executive Associate Dean of Zhejiang University’s School of Management, delivered a keynote report titled "The Endless Frontier: Technological Innovation, Modern Industrial Systems, and Business Management."
The forum also featured the first release of achievements in “Building a Chinese Independent Knowledge System in Business Management,” showcasing original theoretical contributions from eight alliance member institutions. Zhang Jin, Associate Dean of Renmin Business School, presided over the achievement release session.
Zhao Jing, Associate Dean of Renmin Business School, chaired a closed-door meeting where alliance members discussed revisions to the alliance’s charter, collaboration content, operational mechanisms, and future development plans.
In the afternoon, three parallel sub-forums were held, which are Academic Forum on New Quality Productive Forces and the Digital Economy, New Quality Productive Forces and Independent Knowledge Systems – Case Teaching and Development Seminar in Chinese Business Management and 2024 (Second) Forum on Building World-Class Enterprises. -
GMAC Visits Renmin Business School
2026-04-28On January 25, Joy Jenice Jackson Jones, CEO of Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), and Ashish Bhardwaj, Senior Vice President, along with two other representatives, visited Renmin Business School (RMBS). Yi Jingtao, Dean of RMBS, met with the delegation and held a discussion. Kuang Weida, Director of MBA Program, Xu Tu, Director of International Relations, and other faculty from the MBA Program and International Relations Office participated in the meeting both online and offline.
